PMAlliance and IMEC to Offer Project Management Training For Manufacturers in Chicagoland

The Illinois Manufacturing Extension Center (IMEC) recently announced through its website that it will be partnering with PMAlliance to deliver an open enrollment project management training event in Naperville IL.  PMAlliance’s Project Management: Duration-Driven Planning and Control will be offered at the NIU Naperville Conference Center on August 6 and 7.  Registration will be managed through the IMEC website.

“Project Management is a tool that any manufacturer can use in their daily operations to improve project flow and address problems as they arise,” said Amy Fitzgerald, IMEC Marketing Coordinator. “It’s a valuable program that PMAlliance can bring toIllinois companies, whether large or small, to help make them more productive and competitive.”

PMAlliance, a Stone Mountain, Georgia-based company, has a long history of helping companies implement successful project management planning and control processes using Duration-Driven Planning Methodology.   This project management process combines Project Management Institute best practices with proven, hands-on techniques designed to bring projects in on-time, within budget and to specification.

“We (PMAlliance) are always interested in looking for additional avenues to showcase a project management process that has been the cornerstone of so many successful enterprises over the past twenty-five years,” said Troy McKnight, a Partner at PMAlliance.  “We are excited to offer our flagship course in a format that allows smaller companies to gain access to the project management techniques typically reserved for our private on-site training events.”
