PMAlliance’s consultants are highly experienced management professionals in all area of project management consulting who lead small to medium-sized cross-functional project teams to support companies worldwide. Project Management Consultants have sound leadership traits, strong oral and written communication skills, and excellent analytical, organizational, and teambuilding skills.
Consultants have at least five years of progressive work experience in such fields as new product development, systems integration, or project management. They are experienced in the use of all industry-standard project management software systems (e.g., Primavera P3/P3e and Microsoft Project) and in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
Furthermore, Project Management Consultants have bachelors degrees, usually with a technical or business focus. Project Management Consultants have received PMAlliance’s project management trainingand are certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as Project Management Professionals®.
Project Management Consultants lead cross-functional project teams on small to medium-sized projects through the development of the following: (1) project charters that concisely define the project scope and objectives; (2) work breakdown structures that include deliverables, work phases, and activities; and (3) network diagrams that identify the precedence relationships, durations, responsibilities, and resources for all activities.
Project Management Consultants validate and compress project schedules to ensure the quality of the project plan and compliance with deadlines. In addition, they generate summary-level project status reports for key stakeholders.
Project Management Consultants train and mentor clients in the use of project management tools and methods, as well as ensure that project teams follow established project management processes.
General Project Management Support
Project Management Consultants promote project management initiatives and support project office development within the client organization, as well as implement and use all industry-standard project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project and Primavera).
